The mere fact that she's confused, though, must mean that there is a part of her that wants to be more than friends with you. It just sounds like she needs time. Perhaps there are things in her past that she still hasn't worked through yet. If I were you, I'd wait for her. She saw something in you and you obviously saw something in her. I wouldn't say this is over yet. Just try to stay positive and confident. We females like confident men. Situations like this are difficult.
