On October 30, 2006 I came in contact with a 1998 Pontiac Firebird. It’s a 3800 Series-II 6-Cylender with all the wonderful performance parts expected of the Y87.

Hours after looking at the car I decided to put a down payment on the car. The 3rd owner of the car was kind enough the hold the car for one entire week for me to clear up my schedule in order for me to come up with the rest of the money. A total of $4,500.00 was spent on the car.

As far as I or anyone else can tell at the moment there is nothing major wrong with the car. All we can really agree on is it requires a tune-up. You’d expect at that price there would be major body damage or whatever. I’ll say this, the only damage will come from me horsing around in it.

On December 26, 2006 the transmission in the 1998 Firebird had to be rebuilt, and all the electrical components in the car replaced. The total damage was approximately $2,580.00. What a way to start the new year… flat broke.

Novmeber 15, 2008

On Novmeber 15, 2008 the Firebird was hit by another vehicle who ran a stop sign.

On November 17, 2008 the Firebird was totaled out by the insurance company. Truly a sad day for me. I poured my heart into that car only to get nothing back in return. I loved her. Now she is no more. My she rest in piece. One day I will own another.
